National Theatre

Network depicts a dystopian media landscape where opinion trumps fact. Hilarious and horrifying by turns, the iconic film by Paddy Chayefsky won four Academy Awards in 1976. Lee Hall and director Ivo Van Hove brought this masterwork to the stage for the first time, with Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) in the role of Howard Beale.

The campaign was split in two – We created a selection of 'ominous TV' images as the first taster, released alongside a teaser trailer focusing entirely on the TV. Phase two concentrated on Bryan Cranston; his character's image used within the initial 'ominous TV' setup and a new, longer trailer developed and produced.

Working with the set designer of the show I created various logos and identities (UBS, Foodwork, CCS) for the fictional organisations seen in the production and the on-stage
restaurant.
